Privacy Policy

How we respect and protect the personal information of our UK customers and learners.

Last updated: 13 June 2026

Sidrah Institute is committed to handling personal information fairly, transparently and securely in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, contact details, the learner’s age and learning needs, lesson preferences, communications with us, and payment or transaction information needed to arrange and deliver lessons. We do not store full payment-card details.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange free trials, provide and manage lessons, communicate about schedules and progress, process payments, keep appropriate business records, and improve our services.

Our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, we process information where it is necessary to provide a requested service or fulfil a contract, where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving Sidrah Institute, where we must meet a legal obligation, or where you have given consent.

Children’s information

A parent or guardian should make enquiries and provide information for learners under 18. We only use a child’s information to arrange and provide their education and related safeguarding support, and we limit access to those who need it.

Sharing and international access

We only share information with trusted teachers and service providers where necessary to deliver our services. If information is accessed outside the UK, we take appropriate steps to protect it in line with UK data protection requirements. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting and safeguarding requirements. We then securely delete or anonymise it.

Your UK data rights

You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection to certain uses, and transfer of information where applicable. You may also withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
